I am currently right in the middle of swapping my 84 celica gt ( ra64 ) and time be completely honest I dint know shit about wiring a swap. I have the loom out and but I am missing an ecu and was wondering if I should try to buy a reman’d ECU or just go stand alone. Is it possible to keep stock wiring loom and plug into just a stand alone ecu ? If I go with just the stock ecu what wires do I need to delete and how do I trick the ecu to work with a manual transmission. Maybe if somone could point me th right direction if a good video or existing thread that covers this topic clearly enough for almond like me ( who barley knows shit) to understand ? It would be much appreciated
