I came across another thread here at Lextreme and, I'll readily admit, I haven't searched all that hard yet. As soon as I post this I will be hitting the search button.
According to the thread someone was asking about using the 2uz head on a 1uz vvti. The reply was that the 2uz had les head volume than the 1uz vvti so compression would rise. ( I'm sure there would also be vvti vs. non vvti issues)
What I'm wondering is if the same would apply of you put 3uz heads on that same 1uz vvti. Would this raise compression TOO high to where you would need 93+++ octane fuel? Would there be any advantage or HP bump? Or is it just foolishness?
Thanks for any advise. I'm trying to learn as fast as I can.
