2 Bolt to 4 Bolt Main Modification

I was pondering the same idea, but I thought the 3uz main caps would be better because they seem chunkier and lop the bolt mains off with a horizontal bandsaw. I can seen from the pics the 3uz main caps would weaken the block without the side bolt mains.

Back to the point of 3uzfe main caps. They are very expensive. As u know, when u use the main caps off one engine, that engine will be history. Therefore, 1uzfe main caps are dirt cheap. Here are some pictures of the process.

Just got these pictures from Wayne. I will update the www.lextreme.com/tundra.html soon. The main caps are from 1uzfe with arp studs. His machinist also made a torque plate for the 2uzfe. Here are the pictures we all have been waiting for. Thanks Wayne!
