I have a 1985 Toyota pickup that I’m looking to swap a 1UZFE VVTI engine and a R150f (early model) transmission into (already have both of these). What is the preferred way to mate this engine and trans combination? I’m looking for the ability to run a OEM style clutch and flywheel. So far I’ve seen the XAT Racing solution which uses a hydraulic TOB. They also offer a clutch and flywheel option that would be close to OEM style (I’m not looking for a super heavy or light flywheel or a super aggressive clutch).
