1uzfe+tko500 - hydraulic throw out setup

gday gents,

has anyone else out there been successful with a 1uzfe + tko500 combo, but with a hydraulic throw out bearing rather then the traditional fork?

I know both Dellow Automotive and Castlemaine Rod Shop both make complete conversion kits, however I am after a hydraulic throw out option.

I will be contacting Alloy Race tomorrow to see if they might be able to help.


Is this possible and has anyone had similar success? What sort of limitations/problems could you run into with a hydraulic setup?

I am researching options for the same conversion right now (1uz + tko). I have not seen a hydraulic set up yet.

Are you going with a kit from Bellows or Castlemaine Rod Shop for your bellhousing/adapter or making your own?

tko500 would be a piece of piss to set up a hyd bearing adapter on

ive got one for a tko2, and a tko600. customer bought off the shelf item, but would be a piece of cake to just make one

downside, a bit fiddly to initially set up, need positive pedal stop, possible fluid leak/seal/line failure, but other than that, they work sweet, feel good, and are generally service free
