1UZFE idle tick...

I've become increasingly more suspicious of this tick my 1UZ has at idle.

I thought it sounds like a crank related noise, it seems to come from around the oil pan area of the car and disappears once the engine gets up to revs above 1000rpm or so

My exhaust welder reckons it could be a crank bearing on its way out...

sounds like a possible clutch issue.

i had the same thing years ago and it was a loose crank bolt that would rub on the clutch at idle but screws back in at 1000 rpm something to look for any ways

I had a similar noise in mine not only at idle but cruise as well plus have seen it on a few others. In my case it turned out to be a faulty injector
