1UZ with a 5spd?????

Just wondering if any one has done a 5spd conversion mated to a 1uz (ls400). If so what was the process

There are tones of 5spd conversions. Particularly for an LS400, thats a different story. That would be a harder one to do cause the chassis was never offered with a manual trans, unlike the SC which you could get the SC300 with a manual and being that the SC300 and SC400 chassis's are basicaly the same, the peddle assembly is a direct swap IIRC.

so i can get the w58 tranny and parts custom bolt the clutch and do that? i just dont know wat makes the ls400 so different than every other car a 5spd conversion been done too
