Hey team, long time lurker first time poster.
I've been tearing down a VVTi to freshen up before transplanting into my Cressida. Tore the heads off to get cleaned etc and in the process a small amount of water has been trapped between piston and bore resulting in 2 stained bores, pics attached. I think I'm in need of some machine work so I'm looking for some recommendations for oversized pistons. Or is it best to get new sleeves installed and carry on running stock pistons with new rings? I'm not chasing power as the car will only be a Sunday cruiser. Any help is much appreciated.
