Hey gents and gentettes,
Im very new to this forum and also 1UZ's in general, be gentle!
Im doing an engine swap on a volvo 240 sedan to a 1UZ, and have a TR6060 MG9 from an LSA/LS7/LS9 (longer bell and input shaft for a bigger twin plate clutch id imagine).
I would like to know if anybody has done a TR6060/T56 (Im pretty sure same pattern) adapter plate that mounts the TR6060/T56 with bell, to the ass of the 1UZ, successfully? I know Brintech do the plate and clutch for T56 to 1UZ, but I havent been successful in contacting a guy called Lawrence there at all. Im also aware that castlemain rod shop do the kit using the auto bell housing but i would think I would need bigger because of the power im hoping for.
Any DXF or alike is fine and im happy to pay a fee to use it and get it machined locally. I work with alloys and steels daily but mainly deal with carbon and kevlar aeronautical structures, so im not really familiar with drivetrains and diffs/ratios ect. By all means happy to learn.
