1UZ timing belt... compatible accross UZ series??

are the timing belts interchangeable accross models of engine??

for example: does a 1uz non vvti timing belt fit the vvti engine?

or, more specifically (as it's what ive got my hands on) does the 2uz share the same timing belt part number as the vvti 1uz??

anyone with an EPC or first hand experience able to help?

You are a lucky man. I made this phone call for you. I called up my supplier and they spent 10 minutes checking for the compatibility of the timing belt for all uzfe engines. What they told me is that ALL pre 98 is the same and all post 98 is the same. Meaning 1989-1997 is the same and from 1998 to 2006 is the same regardless of engine size. In another word (all 1uzfe, 2uzfe and 3ufe) from 1998 to 2006 is the same.
