That is the 1990 to 1997 LS400. 1998 and newer has different mounting points. So 1998 and newer doesnt work on the early models and vice verse.

Hi,

I was about to post a question about this but then I found this thread. I'm fitting a 1UZ into a Lotus, I've got a 1992 SC400 rear sump engine, it has the type of PAS pump with separate reservoir.

My question is: Are the SC400 1UZ and the LS400 1UZ PAS pumps interchangeable? ie is it a bolt on fit. Mine hasn't got the reservoir, but I would like to fit that type (1990 - 1997 LS400 with built in reservoir). If it's a direct bolt on, that would be great.

Yes they are interchangeable.... Just need to transfer few parts over.

Btw I'm not sure how those attached photos got attached to my post(?) Definitely not mine!

Has anyone got a PAS pump with built in reservoir for sale? I'm in the UK but can oay post if someones abroad...
