1uz onto 80series auto

Hi guys , haven't posted for a while as project is going slow. Have motor and gearbox back in but fuel pump turns off when I put it into gear,am using landcruiser ecu to control gearbox and fuel pump. Engine runs off its standed ecu just after any help as it has me stumped.

I think the fuel pump would be better controlled by the engine ECU .or at least just off a relay controlled by the key

thanks for the reply i was thinking of a seperate relay but just wanted to know if some one had the same trouble as i was having and how they overcome it.
