1UZ into E34 5 series BMW

Has anyone seen this done? I just got my E34 525i last week and am now gearing up for swapping the engine and transmission in.

Any idea if it will fit with the stock exhaust headers? or will custom fab be required?

Dude the base engine without exhaust manifolds in basicly a 700mm cube.

How much room is there between the suspension towers of an E34?

It should fit as BMW have got the M60 V8 into this shell and from what I have seen it is a similar size.

i have seen just the block in a bmw big stuff around with brakes and power steering stuff so check that out first

The BMW V8 is wider than the Lexus because of the heads, so she'll definately fit between the towers, I'm curious if the exhaust manifolds are going to fit in there or not, I'm imagining custom ones would have to be made?
