1uz into 93 2wd hilux sway bar issue

gday all I am currently doing my 1uz into a 93 hilux 2wd ute and i have the engine in (sc400 91) and i used mounts that i bought of trademe.co but the bell housing is hitting on the sway bar right where the bellhousing bolts to the sump just wondering what others have done with there sway bars oh and im using the 1uz factory auto (ive had to drop the sway bar of its mounts on the chassis and its sitting on the torsion bars and is still hitting on the engine)

Just take the sway bar off. Normally only the petrol utes have sway bar and not the diesels. You wont even notice the difference without it. Cheers

or get a later model sway bar
i got one of a later model and bolted straight up and it bends back and clears the bottom of the auto bellhousing
they still handle like my grans hillman hunter heheehe

i had no sway bar or the same reason,and also got a new model one, made a huge difrence to my ute, ( 2 inch drops in the front and 3 inch reset leafs with blocks in the rear ) it used to pick the inside rear wheel way off the grond and tuck the outsidefront wheel hard into the guard when turning hard

thats the same as the one in mine, the original one was just streight between th mounts

What kind of coil overs have you got in there?
Is there somewhere in Aus I can get a set of those?

They're QA1 coilovers. You can get them from macdonald bros racing in Australia.
