1UZ Into 1990 Nissan Patrol

The 1UZFE EGR Delete Kit is available for sale here.
Well done.

I notice you turned the plenum around to give yourslf room for the t/b and aircleaner.

You may want to consider a shroud for the fan.

The engine appears to be at a pretty big angle.

turning the intake makes it so much easier as the patrol air box enters from the passenger side

there will be a shroud made for it, like i said it still needs some tiding up

we have only tilted the engine up 1 degree from where the standard tb42 sits

Whats invloved in turning the intake? Is it just a matter of unbolting it turning it and bolting it back on again? Then rerunning some wires.

I'll be keen to find out how hard it is to turn the intake too? It'd save a lot of hassles for dropping it in my 4Runner as I wouldn't have to relocate my battery and I could still use my snorkel which is on the passenger side.

The truck goes in next week to widowmaker race engines to get the engine mounted, and I'm hoping to have it up and running by the end of Oct.

Whilst I haven't turned my intake i know it has been done before.

Try unbolting the plenum and see what happens when you turn it around.

You may need to extend some vacuum hoses but from what I have seen it is pretty straight forward.

Extending vacuum hoses, and rerouting throttle cable is about as hard as it gets.

Oh, moving some wiring too (TPS and ISCV).

But in a lot of cases, it makes other things so much easier
