have done thanks...

oh diameter of the ring gear please??? wondering what size cltch plate i can squeze on to it..

I had a Rover/1UZ flywheel fitted with the UZ ring gear.

I currently run an 11" clutch on mine but that's bigger than the ring gear.

THe flywheel is scolloped to allow the gear to fit and the starter to engage.

can you give more details, prehaps dia or photo??

thank you

thanks mwp i didnt know extreme do one, i got a account with them ill have to call them tomorrow and see how much they are.

yea i rang them up and for the flywheel and a heavy duty push type clutch its dirt cheap, i couldnt beleive it.
do you know if this works with the adapter plate that goes from the r154 to auto bell housing?

Around $350 from memory.
Its a lightish cromo flywheel made for a Supra clutch.

MWP, do you recall if it's machined for the clutches for the later MK4 Supra with the 2JZ-GTE and V160 6spd, or the earlier MKIII with the 7M-GTE and R154 5spd?

If this is for the later model it could be interesting for us here in the USA, even with freight from OZ.

Nope, i dont know anything more...

Im guessing its made to take the clutches used in early Supras (like the MA70 which used the 7M-GE and W58 'box).
It wont be the R154 supra clutch as thats a pull-type.

Cant see why it wouldnt, flywheel/clutch has nothing to do with the adapter plate.
Itll all work as long as you can setup the slave cyl correctly

i could ring them again tomorrow to find out what model supra clutch they use. im pretty sure its the early type as its a push type cover.
does the v160 pressure plate have a differant boltpattern to older r154 cover? or bigger plate? as they sell the flywheel byitself and you could just use the differant plate and cover with that.
im goint to order the flywheel and clutch with my next stock order just too look at it.

still looking...

can anyone reccomend speed shop that bothers to answer emails or pick up phone that might be able to help??

or hows the forum flywheel projects coming along???

thanks
