I see this has come up in another thread in the past and @cribbj @Arnout had talked seriously about this.

Was at sema this year and spoke with Mitch Pederson about the V8. We found an address that can do the flat plane cranks for not all too expensive

Does anyone have any strong leads. Was this ever made?

Then there's the issue of cams.

PS. Since cranks are interchangeable, I guess it'd work for 2UZ and 3UZ as well.

As far as I know there was never a flat plane crack made.

Jibby was a real character but quite challenged mechanically. I don't think had any idea of the pros and cons of a flat plane crank.

Arnout was (I think) Norwegian, but Scandinavian anyway, and he was trying to fit a 1UZ into a 4wd Ford Sierra. I don't think it ever got finished.
