1UZ-FE & 3UZ-FE Transmissions

I'm trying to find out if the A761E 6-Speed-Auto transmission (from the LS430) would fit onto the 1UZ-FE engine. I have read that the 1UZ-FE & 3UZ-FE have an identical block, so the A761E should fit with no problems? Does this conversion require a new bellhousing? Controlling the A761E will be no problems but attachment of the 1UZ-FE to the A761E is my main concern.



Any help with this would be appreciated!

I think it will bolt right on, but the 1uzfe ecu might get confuse with different electronics and extra gear/s.

Mechanical fitment to block shouldn't be an issue.
I'd use the A761E torque convertor and flexplate just to be safe.

Not sure about tailshaft and rearmount, maybe some mods needed there.

The stock ecu won't have a bar of it though.
