I'm installing the Lextreme EGR Delete Kit on a 1995 SC400. I'd like the option to reinstall EGR if selling.
Rather than removing the exhaust pipe that goes from the exhaust to the back of the plenum, could I just put the block off plate on the rear opening of the plenum and bolt the pipe back on? This blocks the exhaust. Is the a downside to leaving the pipe connected at the exhaust and having hot air run up to the block off plate? Like some dissonance in the exhaust?
In other words if the exhaust is still venting up the pipe and hits the block off plate at the back of the plenum is this a problem?
