1994 Hilux D/C RN85

Good Afternoon All! New here i have just picked up a Hilux with a blowen standard motor 2.4 Petrol. It will be going V8 and i know what i need to do with it but want to know in QLD you can do this conversion legally? What is the go if the Vehicle is 1994 and Engine is from a LS400 from around 98-99 what is ruling on Emissions and ADR? will i need to keep it under emissions and would it be legal? I have looked for infomation just not what im looking for.

Any pointers would be good!
