The check engine light on the car turns on and off inconsistently, and the diagnostic code that appears is 25, indicating an engine lean malfunction. The car also has a severe misfire, making it difficult to drive. When pressing down heavily on the accelerator, the misfire is especially bad. Also, sometimes the car feels okay when using light pressure on the accelerator. Sometimes I get burping noises when idling.
Rather than blindly purchasing new components such as ignition coils and dizzy caps and rotors, I'd like to know if it's something simple or if a sensor has failed.
Already replaced:
spark plugs and wires.
All coolant temp sensors.
TPS sensor.
idle air control valve.
Deleted egr.
