Check these sites out, very interesting indeed and i feel they are quite accurate with there findings if you type in the correct info ie your excate weight and flywheel horsepower, obviously the true figures my diviate a little but i think this is pretty spot on

ITS ONLY ACURATE IF YOU USE THE CORRECT FIGURES NO GUESSES OK

This is my car:

Post up your figures guys! And remember no guesses lol

POSSIBLE STICKY????

Sheesh 10.78 @ 142 mph... Discounts traction....
Best I can do with manual trans is 12.2.. 128 mph....

Factory LS400 the generous 250hp factory quote

Power at Flywheel (BHP) : 250Weight without Driver (KG) : 1814Power to Weight Ratio (BHP Per Ton) : 140.030 - 60 (Secs) : 7.490 - 100 (Secs) : 19.8760 - 100 (Secs) : 12.38Quarter Mile (Secs) : 15.84Terminal Speed (MPH) : 89.28Drag Strip Quarter Mile (Secs) : 15.74Drag Strip Terminal Speed (MPH) : 90.27

They look pretty close for me given traction issues

Power at Flywheel (BHP) : 650Weight without Driver (KG) : 1380Power to Weight Ratio (BHP Per Ton) : 478.580 - 60 (Secs) : 3.290 - 100 (Secs) : 6.3760 - 100 (Secs) : 3.08Quarter Mile (Secs) : 11.24Terminal Speed (MPH) : 133.36Drag Strip Quarter Mile (Secs) : 11.14Drag Strip Terminal Speed (MPH) : 134.85

A bit too simplistic as gearing plays nearly as much a role as weight and hp....a nice toy but better models around.

Dude, your old school Beemer with the 1uz..is faster then a new M5 BMW...It's amazing what an engine swap will do for a car.. If you can somehow find a way to boost that 1uz-fe of yours you would have a down right scary car to drive... As it stands your Beemer is fast and your N/A too...

Congrats...

The calculation seems very reasonable. I boost my SC400 at 6 psi. On the average 6 psi, the other SCs make an average of additional of 80 rwhp. This equals to around 100 bhp without drivetrain loss. Therefore, I assume my car is around 350 bhp. The fact is at dead stops, I smoked several 300 hp range cars that have from 5.5 - 5.9 sec for 0-60 mph and 13.5 - 14 sec for 1/4 mile. These numbers are rated by the factory. The sheet shows what I input for my car below.

Sons turbo car has run 11.02 / 122mph 430 h.p / 1520 kg
With auto... Same body as mine, 6 cyl and auto.. My car appsolutely kills his on the street...Auto and turbo cars are definitely quicker when it comes to consistant 1/4 times...
