knock sensor

I understand the knock senors use shielded wires. Does the shielding ground to the wire shown? Thanks.

a few weeks back i found the knock sensor broken (as seen below) ive glued it back together and i havent noticed any problems as of yet but i have a feeling that someday it will come off, when that time comes what should i look out for?

Have a knock sensor code on my 95 SC400. Would like to replace the sensors and the sub harness that connects them to the main harness. But, my local Lexus parts department is stupid and can't find the sub harness. If anyone knows the part number that would be great. Thanks, KC
