Hi could someone please 100% confirm... I have bought a vvti ls400 v8 engine with engine loom and ecu,is there a transponder on these??? I.e in the key or ignition barrel...also can you think of anything else i would need to make the engine run before the car gets scrapped... Any help much...

to be honest rushy i am going to use the 99 ls400 engine 4.0 vvti has a front facing plenum on it already...

and have to say this set up was amazing...

hi craig i think the only way you could make me an adapter is if you picked up a complete torque tube from a wrecking yard,put it on the bench with the 1uz and measured it up etc to make sure it all fitted,i dought the torque tube would cost much like 50$...pm me your thoughts and price/time...

i want to fit the 1uz in to my 924s engine bay using the original gearbox and torque tube set up...the engine is tight but would fit,so it would be a question of someone being able to make a spacer/plate to bolt the torque tube and 1uz together and a flywheel/clutch set up...i am real serious...

turned out to be a faulty coil pack the one next to the thermostate...cheers...

fuji with the same no s on the top..so yes i reckon its the same...im convinced its something else maybe coil pack or igniter...as it runs lumpy now with the afm plugged in or out makes hardly any difference...

sorry but does anyone know how to fix code 24...as it runs real bad...just pulled the rotor caps of to to clean...still run like a dog...

borrowed the afm of a mates soarer v8...and its the same...start it up and starts to miss like a missing spark...pulled the plug and they are all fine bit sooty but they were new...cleaned and put back in...tried again and the same...so if i have changed the afm and the code 23 is in the afm...

are you for real...thats not top dollar...i know someone who jut paid 9k for one with a manual box......and why is mine not finished,i drive it everyday,its mot and taxed...all supras engine bays are not painted...and i like satin black simple...

pmsl...you dontt like dont comment...gee dude a supra is way better looking than a soarer,its much lighter,the engine is an additional 60kg lighter than a 2j,sits further back in the bay for better weight distribution...more tunable than the 2j n/a...anyway it a for sale thread not a...
