    MA61 with 1GZ-Fe swap

The headers are "180 degree", the cylinders that are at TDC at the same time are paired with equal length primaries. That's why they appear symmetrical - even looking a little gay, if they were built down from the ports as the headers make their way to the rear, I couldn't get the equal length...

    1GZ-fe engine looms n ECU

Jimmy, head gaskets must be bought in a VRS kit ($550) or the full engine gaskets/seals kit is about $650 AUD. If you need an auto bellhousing about $500 AUD. (+adaptor to manual box + fly & clutch). Oil filter is Landcruiser. Fan belt about $150 AUD. A good Toyota dealer can get you any parts...

    1GZ-fe engine looms n ECU

Jimmy, not many are working on these engines and mine will be stock electrics. If the engine is a good price, buy it, there are a few people on here that might buy it off you if you can't get the help you need. Good luck with your plans.

    Some Basic GZ-FE Swap/Install Questions

Ask cribbj about his dry sump system as would be needed unless a GZ is fitted to a car that uses a front sump, a fair bit of pain to start out on.

    MA61 with 1GZ-Fe swap

I'm wanting these plenums to be temporary, up and running and road leagal is the main aim. Been looking at horizontal ITB's, crossing over the valley to get straight runners but the runners would need a dent where they pass each other.

    MA61 with 1GZ-Fe swap

I have nearly lost the whole year of spare time for car modding to do workshop modding. Had to raise the roof to fit in my new blue toy :) :) The shop is mostly blocks so I had to call on some old skilz for the rebuild.

    MA61 with 1GZ-Fe swap

Both my engines are '97 and have vvti on the intake only. I'm told there is a new one with vvti on intake & exhaust, this has to be confirmed. This time of year is crazy for me but the upside is I get to earn more car money - but progress is slow. I do have my bell and manuals from Japan.

    MA61 with 1GZ-Fe swap

It is a just a play thing so it happens when it happens, should see bell housing and other bits about 20th oct. One new Alloy fly/clutch kit for T56/Toyota auto bell is under test ATM, I'll buy one as soon as I hear good results. Inlet manifolds are 80% constructed. The current plan is to...

    MA61 with 1GZ-Fe swap

AFAIK they are still being built and I have been told by an importer there is a new version of the engine, still 5 litre but with VVTi on both inlet and exhaust cams. I have parts on order in Japan, they do not have bell housings in stock so Toyota is making one and can be picked up (in Japan)...
