    1gz-fe rebuild

Andy, so you are going to raise comp, I guess it's an NA build then? I'm told the Extreme twin plate clutch with carbon plates is very streetable, but I still think sprung plates are good for the drive line. Amayama trading (Japan, gen Toy parts to your door) is sounding good, might email...

    MA61 with 1GZ-Fe swap

A little update. The ac clutch is about 1/2" from the fan. The engine bay is looking more complete.

    1gz-fe rebuild

Last time I checked it was about $650AUD, less for trade, for a total engine seal and gasket kit, 2 days to assemble a kit in Japan, not alot cheaper over there. Try the new parts supplier on Toymods, I can check my local Toyota, they say they will give me Trade price. Are you going manual?

    1gz-fe rebuild

Well done, you've been wanting to get your hands on one for a long time. Do you see much scope to make more displacement? Does it have the hyd cooling fan pump, that looks different to mine?

    1GZ-FE Part Numbers

I've been using ToyoDIY.com, even my local dealer is using this instead of the EPC.

    MA61 with 1GZ-Fe swap

Just a little update, finally finished welding inside the cabin, so I can start putting the innards back in. Clutch pics, if a higher rating is required, other plates such as carbon are available.

What you've got in mind won't be road legal...would it?

    BMW V12 Project

That sump sure looks intricate. What about the '67 Ferrari 330 P3 style of Le Mans racer, was look'in over those as a potential replica myself....maybe.

    MA61 with 1GZ-Fe swap

ANDY R, TOYOdiy.com is good, can even check with other models for interchanging parts, my local Toyota dealer uses it instead of the EPC. Well they used Landcruiser oil filters so maybe starters too :) 28100-32010 22800-6361 11905 this one, the 9, I can't be sure of, all these are on...

Tips for pulling down a T56

Anyone pulled the front housing off a T56? Looking to change the input shaft or even alter the housing. The box is brand spanking new, GM surplus, so I want to be cautious. I want a little fore warning as to what will happen when the bolts come out. Is it going to self destruct, springs fly...

    Sc500

The cats are welded on the V12 headers IIRC, the UZ cats are flanged both ends, either way post would be costly from southern Australia. Let me know if you are not going to use the fan pump pulley, it seems Toyota only sell the pump complete whereas the water pump pulley is sold separate??? If...

Good news about the sump, so things should go well then. I have some stock headers, bit far away tho, are you using the stock throttles?

    MA61 with 1GZ-Fe swap

OK tech heads, is the air volume of a plenum that is upstream or above the TB's that relevant, other than not being too small or restrictive? Last exhaust pic, because I have it.

    MA61 with 1GZ-Fe swap

Good news, there is about an inch more hood space than I first thought so I should clear the COPs. I have looked and looked at the valley and think there is a slim chance they could go vertical but everything is sooo tight for tps and linkages. Besides, they would be covered by an intake plenum...

    MA61 with 1GZ-Fe swap

I tend to agree, not to put injectors above the butterfly, bit more investigating to do. To fit them in the valley there is no room for injectors unless they are mounted in the side of tall runners. If I lay them horizontal the injectors can stay in the original place, no benefit in moving...

    MA61 with 1GZ-Fe swap

I can feel a hood bulge coming on, it's the only way, no matter what configuration I try. In the pic the front 3 will clash with the COP ignition, just, I did find that the 1GZ TPS units will bolt onto these 4cyl Toyota throttles. Any comments on mounting the injectors straight down the center...

    MA61 with 1GZ-Fe swap

There you go cribbj, you've been calling for these, tho I'm disappointed, the salesman said they were a direct bolt on!!! Because it will take a small miracle to fit these without a hood bulge, they won't be on my priority list of things to do :(

    Exhaust vs Firing Order

With V12's you can make 180deg pairs on each bank. Have a look on V-eight.com there's lot's of exhaust tech.
