    MA61 with 1GZ-Fe swap

just had a little trouble posting, started again and dang it was there? No matter, there are some pics I would fix in the early part of the thread...meh. There are a few more GZeds in Aus/NZ (1 maybe AWD) and a couple of A80's of old up for revival, alas, none looking like running anytime...

Got some house mods to finish, then I will be right back onto it. Looking at making a start on the ITB's manifold, purely for therapeutic reasons i.e. raise enthusiasm.

    MA61 with 1GZ-Fe swap

There's the '60's Le Mans Ferrari & Porsche racers. A 330 would be good rivalry for your GT40 mates but in my eyes not as pretty. The open wheeler would be quite exciting but such limited opportunities.

    1gz-fe rebuild

Toyota 5ME had it along with a lot of other early motors using a belt driven air pump delivering air right at the valve seats. A pollution thing, to oxidise more of the gasses in the the exhaust such as carbon monoxide to carbon dioxide (me thinks)

    1gz-fe rebuild

OK Andy, I see your engine is after 2005, it has twin electric fans and an idler pulley and uses the original v belt. I noted it used an air injection system into the exhaust (by an electric air pump) and that has explained the tube along the head I did not recognise.
