Really? It has a Subaru filter on there at the moment When I did my mates RN90 1UZ few years back we just used a 25mm high industrial grader filter that had same thread size/pitch. It was meant to be a short term thing, 3yrs later, still running these pissy little things, has not had an issue...

OK, So i'm about to install remote oil filter, I have a CRS adapter and a GREX remote filter block with PWR oil cooler set up off my 4AGZE set up. Can I use this oil filter, or is there a certain flow rate or anything I missing here?

Anyone? Also, where is the engine number on 1UZ?

Old thread revival What would be an ideal exhaust size for a stock LS400 motor (into a RN85R 2WD Hilux) with a view to go M90 or M112 later on in the piece. Would the above mentioned twin 2.25 into single 2.5 be suffice?

I went to shim the release bearing up just now, took the measurements and realized that there are not enough shims supplied, at that the location bolt will only just make contact, like 1-1.5mm of surface area contact.... So looks like I need to have a solid spacer machined up, and just like you...

The kit came with 2 different thread type extended rod top bolts.

The unit I have can't really go in the 7'oclock position, the input shaft housing bolt hole at that position will only just make contact with the Howe location tab, so I'm going to have to mount it differently anyway. Anyone one else used this type of Howe before?

I got a hold of a surf/4runner handbrake & cable, as the stock one fouls on the rear of the head, but it mount different. Anyone done this swap? Did you have to drill a hole for the mount, and a hole for the cable. If so, where did you drill the cable hole?

There is an industrial filter of a small grader, its like ~40mm high, mate used them for years with his 2wd Rn90 1UZ to clear the steering idler bolts/chassis. Can't remember the part number, but I found it on this forum, dredge through archive's you should find it.

Hi-jacking thread, I am doing a Howe hydraulic release, and have a question. The instructions say to position in the 7'oclock position. Shot at 2012-09-12 The master is on the other side, I want to position like so Shot at 2012-09-12 Will it still work?

If I had of made it I would have made the spacer thicker, to accommodate/clear the input shaft housing bolt.... and the 2 bottom bolts that hit the bell would be recessed into the adapter. The input shaft might not reach being thinker, but would just need a spigot bearing spacer and the kit...

Does A340 and A341 Auto Bellhousing have different size bolts locating the bell to the box?

Old thread resurrection, So am I reading this right, G52 has same Bellhousing bolt spacing as W5x? So I can use a W series Bell/adapter on a G52? Is the input shaft the same length and spline? Ali
