    Eaton M112 project

10psi from a m90 is the same as 10psi from a m112? Pulley size to give you that boost and you'll be fine. A decent jump in hp over 6psi and a long way below the limits of the stick internals.

Is the UZ series still the way to go

I'm aiming for 1/3 the power (exactly) at under 1/2 tbe boost...fair ask I reckon :)

Is the UZ series still the way to go

No so bad actually....and less than the money pit the UZ has turned into. Just couldn't bring myself to top anymore good money into it. Plus a good chance to chsnge done aspects that have always annoyed me. Lazy torque suits what the car will be used for now it's circuit days are...

Is the UZ series still the way to go

Breakimg new relevant to the OP....i'm parking the built VVTi TTUZ in the corner for a while. The thing has been soul destroying, so i'll leave it for another day. I'm dropping in a TT LQ9 408 stroker instead...same hp goal ie approx 1000hp flywheel. But this will do it lazily and with torque...

V8 Supra MK3 1UZ Twin Turbo from Germany - Part II

It's taller than both but a little shorter. ....about the same width. Shifter is way more forward. Pretty sure there are some side by side images I googled

V8 Supra MK3 1UZ Twin Turbo from Germany - Part II

I have a pic somewhere i think, but no, i can't recall ever counting the teeth. I can say it's the larget pinion gear i've ever seen and offsets the CW over a mile

V8 Supra MK3 1UZ Twin Turbo from Germany - Part II

It's a Team Toyota diff, used in their MA70 supra race cars on the tracks with higher top speeds. I had two but I sold one sorry. A slight chance you could find one thru TRD? I'd hate to think of the price. I do have a 3.4:1 G series crown and pinion if that would help?

V8 Supra MK3 1UZ Twin Turbo from Germany - Part II

Yeah the thrust washer is a known r154 weakness, but you have destroyed that box from pure torque overload of the gearset i reckon :) good job ;) 5th is obviously the weakest gear too, so a prolonged full throttle run wouldn't have helped. the Magnum should work well....they are double OD...

V8 Supra MK3 1UZ Twin Turbo from Germany - Part II

Mine has run a TKO600 for years now. The only issue I've had was the pressed steel front cover not bring strong enough to support the sky's haft bearing. There is a fix for that now which makes it a pretty bullet proof choice up to 1000hp. As they are rated at 600ftlbs constant load, they...

Is the UZ series still the way to go

Euro engines with warranty are great....otherwise not so much. If you want tech then the Coyote is the best V8 around. They are a genuinely good thing and not too badly priced for a new crate motor.

Is the UZ series still the way to go

The LS platform is hard to beat. Cheapish, light, compact and nothing else can touch it for aftermarket support. If there's room then the Ford Coyote platform is a better engine and near bullet proof at streetable power levels. It's also very light but twincam heads mean it's wiiiide...

Read this, have a laugh but think how it could have turned out!

Bloody hell mate, I didnt expect that ending. Thankfully you are still with us! Isn't hindsight a wonderful thing, I've lost count of the times I've thought "hmmm that might have ended badly". More thought, less action eh :) Rest up and I hope the healing progresses smoothly

    1UZFE in a Maserati Biturbo

There are dozens of cheap wheels that would look far better....I get the cheap and cheerful but it doesn't have to come at the cost of ugly ;) wheels maketh or breaketh the car, every time :) At least paint them satin black?
