I had the same problem when i used 8.8 grade bolts for my flywheel,they just wouldnt torque up to about 80nm.Pulled them out to inspect and you could see the middle of the thread was narrower than the rest.I dint want to use cap heads as the would off been to small head wise without washers etc.

you must get ALL traces of the previous coolant out before installing a different one.Drop the drain plug out of the rad wont do it as coolant in engine will remain,and if you look,both hoses on the engine are right at the top of the motor.This will only drain it down to the bottom of the hose...

Steetscene was also splitting blocks,they ended up making their own block.They have that yellow rail.

how much is it still lexus,guys over here are splitting the factory blocks.

Dont qoute me 100% but i think they are 38mm. Edit:justed checked,atleast the bottom fitting is 38mm and they look the same.Get PWR to make one as theie of the shelf will be wrong sizes,most likely a 35mm fitting.They have a 2 week wait on there rads so it should be a no brainer to get them...

The starter on the side would cause issues on a swap i would think too,just another benifit of the uz engine.

Im seriously looking at getting a profire setup on mine.It will be using gas injectors right in place of the original ones and pissing of all of the fuel inj.

Would be nice to have something that revs like a bastard and has an aggresive idle,thats one thing you dont really have with a 1uz,it idles just too smooth.

All motors turn clockwise when looking at the front of the motor,allthough some Hondas are an exception i think. Fake mount it and spin it in the direction of flow and see if its right,my brain cant visualise that much.

They look like the hub adaptors that are used in the vt brake upgrade kits.Got a set on the vl,brought them from Neil at race brakes here in Perth all though hes is no longer around.
